Baba

He is super cute. I love his curly hair, he has got the best curls that I could ever ask for, and hence people sometimes assume that he is a girl. Well, I ensure that I don't dress him anything remotely girlie, can't help it. We has got these lovely set of teeth now, 4 on top and 2 below, a wee bit spacing between his tope two teeth and he looks adorable.

He is a year and 2 months(almost) and certainly has his choice. He loves to see a fimiliar face when he gets up in the morning or else he is grumpy and cranky and goes on with his crying forever (which is getting louder and more dramatic, with Sunny banging his head on the floor).

Whenever I head to the kitchen to wash utensils he will follow me and make me pick him and then continue with my work(well that is impossible). He loves his blue bat and loves to play cricket first thing in the morning. He loves to eat (though he gobbles all the time he is such a small baby). He can eat as spicy as we do at times and has extremely sweet tooth (like his daddy).

He loves going out in fresh air (though I hardly take him). Today, I was cleaning his tongue with my finger and soon after I was done, he puts his finger and starts cleaning his small tongue. His smile is like a bright sunshine.

and the bond between him and chiku is indescribable. No one can make him laugh the way chiku does. She always looks for him when she wakes up and calls up Kuji, kuchi or is it gujji. And she has a song for him too just like meme chakari papa ma, ni shonnu papa ma, ni shoonu kutti ma.

Sunny loves pulling chiku's hair and no end to the kind of things he does to irritate her. Chiku would only shout but never ever hit him back. These days she has become a lil aggressive, when she is angry with Sunny she gently pushes him, but she is always there to correct him. When he goes wandering away to Tv plugs/switches she promptly gets up and holds his hand and brings him back. She smiles and he Smiles back.

This Summer

I have been too lazy as well as too many things have been cropping up for me to take chiku out to play, which is really sad (but can't help it baby). So Chiku is busy watching cbeebies. I would prohibit her from watching these channels, but after watching it myself a couple of times, I found that its interesting. Moreover its way better than Doremon and the tantrums Nobita throws, gosh!!!

So here we were watching Cbeebies and they were showing something about outdoors in teletubbies. I saw the hot air balloon and was so ready to impress chiku with my wee bit knowledge of the balloon. So I start with
ME : What is that??
Chiku(without a blink) : hot air balloon.
ME : and
Chiku : and it has fire inside and it flies high like an aeroplane and it has a basket.
ME : sigghhhhhh ( but I was glad she was watching the right stuff).

Besides this there are innumerable funny instances that have been having. Like the other day meme called Chiku to her room
Meme : Barbie tell mumma the washing of clothes are done, so ask mumma to get the clothes out of washing machine and then put them for drying.
Chiku (baiting her lashes and very sweetly and softly says) : My mumma is very tired and is sleeping now amma. Let her rest.
Meme  bursts into a huge hearty laugh.
Chiku (comes to  me) : Mumma you are tired na?
ME : ya
Chiku : and you are doing dodo na???
ME : ya

Chiku : you will not dry clothes na???
ME : what????

Chiku has some of her favs when she is watching TV. You keep yelling and throwing things she still wudn't get distracted. This one particular time I kept calling out to her and she just wudn't pay attention. So I went close to her and shouted so as to distract, she was stunned plus she got upset and in that sweet tone of hers she said:
Chiku : I am small na mumma, why you always shouting at me? I get scared na talk na softly and don't na shout.
Oh, how could you be serious after that, we broke into a smile together and I hugged her.
