I can't believe its like the fag end of the year 2013 and this here is my first blog!!!
THis year has been well lets just say busy with a big B.
First and foremost I earned my promotion. Yep, I earned it alright(no matter what my manager has to say)! Yep EARNED it, worked hard, crazy hours, day and night. Travelled travelled travelled and that too from one city to another (pune, malad and mahape... I wish there was atleast one trip to the UK). Dragged the kids wherever possible, made the husband work crazy hours and finally started liking the city called PUNE. Well I always loved the weather there just the slow start and siesta times are not my cup of tea.
Finally the big shark called LOAN has eased out on us. WE managed to get a balance in our lives without having to cut cost at every second. Having said that I think we actually have to start looking at the accounts again!!!
Chickoo(now being fondly called as Cuckoo) has grown, quite responsible, has attained a certain level of maturity, very sensitive and at the same time is the most adorable gift that the Lord has given me. Affectionate and a beauty to adore. I think one hug and smile from her eases all the pain. A true reflection of me in all the madness, naughtiness and playfulness. You my sunshine, I pray, May your madness and affection stay with you forever. Amen!!
Baba, he has started school, that is what is new with him. He cried his lungs out the first week of schooling. The teacher and the helpers love him, well it will be a surprise not to love the lil devil!!! The start of second week he is settled in a pattern, wakes up early, asks for his brush, demands his tiffin box and waves bye on his way out. My champ, a loving hug in the mornings from you, is wonderful start to my day!!!
Sunshine, in all the running around has been quite supportive, running around, balancing work life and sometimes spending more than required hours in front of the lappy than us. It feels normal to have you back ;) full-time at home.
Meme has been ill. My biggest heartache. I don't feel myself. I know for sure we will get out of this. I will. You will. We will!!!!
My brothers, the eldest and youngest, I hope and pray if they have worries, they share it with me.
The good part of the year, I did manage to meet most of my friends. Some sanity there. Trish, Hans, Anne, Anklet, Anjie, I love you guys. I hugged my Sister. That felt great!!! These are some of the strongest Girls I know. They amaze me ALWAYS.
For ME,
the best part of the year is yet to come. My cous sister and friend, who will be down soon, waiting to meet her. Waiting for Xmas season to start, to spread its warmth and Love!!! I pray!!!
